Check out this fun social experiement illustrating the power of gratitude:
Sit in a comfortable position, and as the music begins, close your eyes and just think of things you’re grateful for. If it helps, go through a typical day in your life and notice things that you really appreciate. Or just people or things around you. Or within you. You’ve done the super-creature discovery activity…so you already have things you can celebrate about yourself. Start there and see how creative you can get with your gratitude!
Play the music again in the background (possibly on loop) sit in a circle with your tribe and express some things you are grateful for with the group. You can simply use words, or if you want to show with a movement or a frozen image, that’s fun too. Feel free to smile while you listen. It feels good.
Mmm mmm good. Gratitude. We've included another fun song of gratitude as well, entitled "Thanks." Singing or listening to this song is a great way to start any day of learning!
